'You've been crunching through the snow with sharks licking at your heels. A dilapidated house stands sentry in the middle of the snowy night, though the locks on the outside speak of horrors within. Refusing to die by a bunch of swarm fuckers, you hide inside... only to quickly realize you're not alone.'

'What's worse? The monster you know outside, or the one you don't down below?'

The Wulf Downstairs is a short visual novel combining horror elements and some mild eroticism. For all the monster lovers out there, here ya go!

Contains:

  • Hand-painted backgrounds
  • Wulf Sprite w/ several expressions and versions
  • Custom VA
  • Four endings (hint for the fourth ending is in one of the screenshots <3)
  • Choices that impact your story

Playtime:

I'd say this is about a 15-20 minute experience with all 4 endings.

OMG, I love this work ^o^

I love this so much. Short but so satisfying, you've really managed to hit a perfect balance between erotic and horror. The Wulf especially was very well done; had me right in that scarousal sweet spot. I also really liked the inclusion of point and click elements, especially for that fourth ending, and would love to see that idea expanded upon. And the art was absolutely gorgeous, not to mention such an atmospheric sound design. I would definitely be interested in seeing more stories set in this universe, the world building you've managed to do in such a short space of time really has me wanting to know more about it.

Is there like, any plans on making more stories or games based in this world? In that short amount of time it's hooked me  and I'd love to know more about it, the monsters and everything

also, as a certified monster fucker, I thank you for this meal.

As someone who commonly asks monsters in games out for a coffee, this game was a huge payoff. Just seems like I bit off more than I bargained for.

Your visuals are gorgeous and I loved that the different endings truly were different and not just slight deviations. I am also a fan of short interactive fiction and this was short but build a whole world. The sexy parts did not really resonate with me but that’s more a personal opinion. Great work!

You've obviously got some world building / lore behind this--too bad this sample is so brief.   No doubt due to the time it must take to create the artwork, which is really slick, very clean graphic novel style.  Something like this is screaming for a full-on game, but yeah, that's asking for a lot of time investment unless you're one of those super-fast artists you see here and there.  Anyway, love to see future work in this vein.  You have talent, good luck.

I liked it, im probs doing something wrong since i couldnt find the fourth.

Glad you liked it! There's a hint in the screenshots. It involves investigating the second area of the basement. :)

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was an interesting visual novel horror game about interesting characters like shark and Wulf. The game definitely went into some unknown territory and I did not expect the ending to be like that at all XD. I enjoyed the game and the design of the Wulf. It would be cool if more could be done in the game though and more variety of sound effects used for the game as well.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
